This site is dedicated to the idea that functional programming concepts are not owned by the shrouded elite of mathematics PhD’s or bearded illuminati who claim Haskell as their prophet. Functional programming is a way of thinking, and a such can be applied to any language and situation. The focus here is on practical applications you can use in the programs you want to write, hopefully in your current language.

This blog is written by David Koontz, a game developer from Phoenix, AZ. David is one of the members of Boldy Games, working on a cooperative skill-based roguelike due out in 2015. He is currently investigating how functional programming can be incorporated into the world of game development, this blog is mostly a record of his progress in that regard.
